Oyo Traffic Management Agency Arrests Impostors Parading As Officers To Defraud People

The Oyo State Road Transport Management Authority (OYRTMA) has arrested some impostors who had been parading themselves as traffic officials in Ibadan Southwest Local Government Area of Ibadan and defrauding members of the public with their tactics.

They were Paraded at the Authority’s administrative headquarters in Ibadan on Tuesday, March 2, the Executive Chairman, Mogaji (Dr.) Akin Fagbemi told journalists that the suspects have been falsely obtaining cash amounts ranging from ten thousand to thirty-five thousand Naira (#10,000-#35,000) for various alleged traffic offences of which they were neither authorized to apprehend nor penalize defaulters.
