The Referee identified as Faizatu Jakpa was assault and beaten up by a player of the Fabulous Ladies in the Ghana women’s league match between Fabulous Ladies and Kumasi Sports Academy.
The incident left the referee with a swollen face and some other scratches on her face and body. As of the report, we do not know yet if the football club or player involved have been sanctioned.
