Honesty is the best policy and this has paid off for a Kenyan woman’s honest deed after returning some money worth KSh 49,556 (N172,304.83) mistakenly sent to her account.
In an interview she granted with Legit, the lady stated at the time she got the money, she was going through financial and emotional distress. But when the stranger who mistakenly sent the money called her and pleaded, she had to return to the money.
This little act of kindness yielded friendship between Grace and the man who mistakenly sent her the money. He rewarded her a whopping KSh 100,000 (N347,692.22).
