Texas electric grid operator lost control of the power supply, leaving millions without access to electricity. The blackouts extended from hours to days. The Nigerian man cried out for help and prayers as the state continues to suffer power outage.
The man took to his Twitter to address fellow Nigerians who are mocking them for complaining about power outage just after two days. According to Lawal, the cold is unbearable and due to the power outage, they cannot use their heaters and thermostats to make living conditions bearable.
He wrote;
”Making jokes about Texas is not the way right now. We need prayers. It’s scary shit right now. Losing power is fine if this was summer, we can manage heat.
This is a winter storm. It is cold as shit. All the Nepa this Nepa that is lame. We are scared!!!”
